Chopin (1810-1849)

Description:

El-Basha, the mature and bitter adult Chopin Abdel Rahman El-Basha is said to have memorized all of Chopin’s works, and has recorded the complete works including concertos. This is a superb series of re-recordings he has begun to take on with the supreme skill of maturity as he approaches his 60th year. Following last year’s Ballato and Scherzo, the second volume is a fill-up of three solo works, mainly 24 preludes. The deep tones of the Bechstein piano, full of shadows, and the calm pianism make for a mature Chopin experience. King International
