Minami Kitasono, the Japanese composer / multi-instrumentalist artist’s first release in 10 years, a masterpiece album is now available in 45RPM analog format!Minami Kitasono’s first full-length album, ‘Meridian,’ was composed entirely in full score and recorded overseas remotely to complete a large-format composition in a single apartment room. This album has been described as a ‘next-generation home recording album. ‘ The album includes ‘Meridian,’ a grand opening track that incorporates horns and strings, the truly Kitasono-style city pop of ‘Stagnation by Halfword,’ the upper funk number ‘Structure of Funk,’ which is a new frontier for the band, and many other songs with complex compositions that straddle a variety of genres. The album is a masterpiece that brilliantly combines a complex composition that crosses genres with an overwhelming sense of sound design and a literary point of view. LISTEN: https://youtu.
